Unless previously arranged, a booking lasts up to 2 hours, usually 1 hour 30 for younger children. We will need to arrive 30 minutes before the time of the party to set up. We will provide everything needed, including sponges, paints, brushes, folders full of inspiring designs and of course the pottery. We will clean up afterwards. You will need to provide a table with enough space to allow your guests to stand or sit around. If the party is for children, you may like to have a film or another activity ready for those that finish before others.

At the end of the party we will label and take away the pottery, which will be glazed and fired in the kiln. We aim to have your pieces ready for delivery within 24-48 hours, and these can be delivered back to the organiser.

Masterpieces is located in Chorlton, Manchester. If the venue is over 10 miles from base, a reasonable mileage fee will be charged at 20p per mile.

The customers must cover the cost of their own breakages; if we break a piece the price will be refunded. We will ask for 7 days notice between the time of booking and the day of the party, although it's always worth enquiring if it's an urgent request!

We will require a £50 deposit which is non-refundable if you do not cancel your booking within 21 days, however we will be happy to change the date of your booking if the date becomes a problem. The outstanding balance will be due on the day of the party.

Please note that the paints we use are completely safe and non-toxic, and wash out of clothes easily. We do suggest you select one extra item, which either a parent can paint, or if one is broken there's a spare for that child to take home.
